Another picturesque village called Agia Paraskevi is located about 2 km away with authentic Greek taverns.

The town of Rethymno, about 8 km away, is the third largest city in Crete. A charming city with a winning combination of Venetian influences and Turkish influences. The narrow alleys create an almost mystical, and romantic atmosphere.
